POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – On April 15, 2016, the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie will host their 4th annual Open Your Heart Cocktail Concert. This year’s event will be held at The Grandview, in Poughkeepsie, NY from 6 – 9 pm.
This enchanting evening begins with a cocktail party featuring sumptuous hors d’ouevres and a fabulous open bar and continues with an hour long musical performance, seated dessert and champagne.
This year we are delighted to welcome back PBS star Christopher D. Macchio, whose touring schedule last year included performing to sold out crowds in Atlantic City, a show in Beverly Hills with Rod Stewart and at Carnegie Hall. This classically trained tenor will captivate you with his golden-era sound that encompasses a broad range of musical styles, including favorites from the world of grand opera, Italian folk songs, Broadway classics, and contemporary crossover hits from the songbooks of Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban. Chris will be joined by a special guest soprano and a virtuoso live band.
