Support Ivy’s Fund on May 20

Ace, Elvis, and Marshall want to let you know that on May 20, 2020, the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie will participate in the 5th annual Hudson Valley Gives Day!

    Please save the date.

What is Hudson Valley Gives? Hudson Valley Gives is a day of giving fueled by passion, collaboration and the power of social media. You can think of it as a type of digital telethon that benefits hundreds of much-deserving nonprofits in our area.

At the Children’s Home, we see this as an incredible opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe in and help nonprofit organizations like ours connect to the larger community.

How can you help. Please join our campaign and help us reach our goal to raise $5,000 to support Ivy’s Fund, which funds the Facility Service Dog program at the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie! Currently the Children’s Home has three facility services dogs, Ace, Marshall and Elvis, who work 5-days a week offering comfort and unconditional, non-judgmental love to all of the children.

Become a fundraising champion. Everyone loves a champion, especially Ace, Elvis, and Marshall! We really need fundraising champions to help share the important work our Facility Service Dogs do with the most vulnerable children in our community. By asking your friends and family to share our mission, you support our children’s futures!

Get ready to give! On May 20, starting at 12:00 am midnight, visit the Ivy’s Fund Giving Page and make a donation to us and/or to any of the great participating nonprofit organizations in our state. You will have 24 hours to make your donation, and all giving will end at 11:59 pm on May 20.

Remember, our goal at the Children’s Home is to raise $5,000 in 24 hours! With your help, we know we can do it. Bookmark the direct link below to our giving page and visit on May 20 to make a donation.
