We want to extend our sincere gratitude to all who joined us on October 16 for our first annual Hope on the Hudson Event. We were fortunate to enjoy a wonderful evening by the Hudson River, surrounded by friends and supporters.
Jason Bishop’s illusions amazed us all, but it was his story of overcoming adversity that reminded us why we gathered together in the first place. We would also like to extend a special thanks to the Grandview for providing delicious food, drinks, and desserts, adding elements to make the whole evening feel truly magical.
But the real magic? That came when Selina shared her story. As a former resident of the Children’s Home, Selina opened our hearts when she spoke about her journey through foster care, finding both hope and family right here at the Home. Today, she holds a master’s degree and inspires other children walking similar paths.
As we said that evening, the work we do with children and families would not be possible without the generous support of a caring community. Thank you for being a part of that work.
There are over 100 photos from the event. Please feel free to browse them below from our amazing photographer, Al Nowak, who captured the night perfectly.
