Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS)
Children and Family Treatment and Support Services, available through NYS Children’s Medicaid, empower children (under age 21) and their families to improve their health, well-being, and overall quality of life. These mental health services include individual, family, and group therapy to strengthen families and help them make informed decisions about their care. Additionally, the program offers targeted interventions and skill-based supports designed to prevent the need for emergency room visits, hospital stays, or out-of-home placements, such as group homes or campus-based care. Services are delivered in the least restrictive environment for the child or family.
