Poughkeepsie, NY – Laugh It Up! Comedy Club is proud to present its first annual “Laugh It Up! Toy Drive” to benefit the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie at a special show on December 5, 2015. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the show for a ticket discount. All toys collected will be donated to the Children’s Home.
This event will be headlined by the hilarious John Tobin, formerly of “The Coop and Tobin Show” on 101.5 WPDH. Special guest for the evening will be club owner Dan McRitchie from “The Gong Show”, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Hosting this hysterical evening will be Rosario Scanio who has performed at The Chance Theater, Steiner’s Ballroom, and is one of Laugh It Ups favorite regional performers!
Laugh it Up! selected the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie for this charity event because it’s important to us that these children get to celebrate Christmas, said Dan McRitche, club owner. Each year, I donate my time playing Santa for a few local charities and schools. It is a time of giving and I feel that putting smiles on the faces of these children on Christmas Day is the best way for us to give to the community.

Laugh It Up! Comedy Club is located inside Mahoney’s Irish Pub & Steakhouse at 35 Market Street, in Poughkeepsie. This event is 21+ to enter. Seating will begin at 8:30 pm; show starts at 9:00 pm.
