Poughkeepsie, NY – On April 15 the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie hosted their fourth annual Open Your Heart Cocktail Concert at The Grandview. Over 200 guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. The highlight of the evening was a musical performance by Christopher D. Macchio, which guests were treated to over dessert and champagne. Macchio, a New York Tenor and PBS star captivated the audience with his golden-era sound and emotive stage presence.

This year’s event was co-chaired by board members Mary Lou Davis and Suzi Stoller. “This glorious evening, filled with so many friends of the Children’s Home, was a wonderful tribute to the work of the Home, a safe haven, a place of caring, healing and hope,” said Stoller. “We couldn’t have asked for a better night,” said Children’s Home Executive Director, Walter J. Joseph. “I personally look forward to this event each year and especially enjoy sharing the good work of the Children’s Home among friends and supporters.”
